Hi, I’m Jenn Wasner

I'm a musician, songwriter and producer--I've made many albums' worth of music with my bands Wye Oak and Flock of Dimes, but I've also collaborated in many forms with a long list of artists (including but not limited to Bon Iver, Helado Negro, Hand Habits, Future Islands, Sharon Van Etten, Deerhoof, Sylvan Esso, and lots and lots of others.) I’ve performed in stadiums, basements, and just about everywhere in-between.

Choosing to be an artist requires a certain amount of resourcefulness and flexibility—and over the last year I’ve been re-examining conventional wisdom about what a creative career might look like for me. In the process I’ve discovered something important about myself— I feel the most inspired and connected to a sense of purpose when I’m interacting as directly as possible with the people who enjoy the things I make.

Thank you for being here, I appreciate your support more than I can possibly express.
